Summit Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harrah, Oklahoma, draws neighbors and visitors for a shared time of worship, continuing the sense of community already present throughout the village. Familiar faces return each week, and new ones are received just as warmly.

If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where conversations begin easily and invitations to the after-service potluck are never far behind. In this way, the church serves as both a natural extension of community life and a place set apart for reflection, where connection deepens over time.

This is the heart of the village.

Support the ministry and ongoing work of the church.

Sabbath mornings bring a quiet sense of devotion across the senior living village at Summit Ridge. Along the paths, small groups form naturally as people make their way toward the church, while others arrive from beyond the village.

A wave here, a smile there, a pause to walk in together. In the foyer, handshakes and hugs are abundant as neighbors and friends greet one another, and new faces are warmly welcomed. Inside the sanctuary, organ music rises as seats quietly fill and voices settle into reverence.

Pastor Bill Norman serves alongside a devoted group of elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers who support the life of the congregation and wider community. Their steady involvement helps create a place where people feel at ease and genuinely cared for—during Sabbath service and throughout the week.

What begins in everyday village life gathers here in worship—through song, scripture, prayer, and message—and then carries outward again in renewed care and connection.
